Samantha Bailey Testimonial

Wow, where do I begin? I found Josh on Instagram because I had learned some of my friends followed him. I seriously didn't know anything about him but I was interested in the awesome results my friends had by going to him. So I messaged him and said I was ready to change my lifestyle. Josh, who started out as just a Personal Trainer, someone who I was going to meet up with back in February 2013 because I had moved back home and was starting over has become one of the best friends I never knew I needed in my life. I was training to try out for the Lexington Metro Police department and I just needed the extra push because I wasn't able to do it on my own. We had about 12 weeks to perfect my push-ups and the many other requirements. Josh and I started working out two times a week and some three days. I was in the best shape of my life. Seriously, I couldn't have asked to look better. But over this time, I became someone I didn't know existed. I found my core and what my being was all about. Most importantly, I was a mom and everything else had seemed and still sometimes is a distant second. Josh and I became very close instead of him being my personal trainer he became my life coach! I ended up not applying to the police department only because I was looking out for the well being of my daughter and her future. I slowly started to fall off the fitness wagon and started slacking, and my diet was going south, and sadly I had pretty much stopped working out. Josh would text me all the time and say "hey, when you gonna come back? When can you get back in here?" I tried to push him away and make excuses to not work out but you'll never believe it, I finally went back to him when I was fed up with myself and wanted my body back. JB has been my rock, so when I went back to see him, he welcomed with open arms. Mind you, I'm not the easiest client and I complain but he's always pushed me and stood behind me telling me that I can do it. If I had a dollar for every time I said "I'm dying." "You're killing me!" Or "I'm not going to make it." I can promise you I wouldn't be working anymore. Every time I've fallen off the wagon and I go back to him. Josh is by the far best trainer in the world, what he's doing is changing the world, one client at a time! JB has become that older brother who always watches out for you and I'm thankful to have him on my side. I'm far from where I want to be but he's made me believe in myself. If only I could get out of my head, the way I see myself is my far a distorted vision of how everyone else sees me. And I think I blame the teasing growing up, which was boys making fun of me for not being like the other girls or even society for making us believe that we are not accepted unless we are size zero and real life stick figures. I'm still learning how to accept my own body and embrace the curves I've been given. I've been blessed with an amazing daughter who also has had the opportunity to join me in the gym and does JB's workouts better than I can. I've not only made a lifetime friend but someone I can count on at all times. JB made me see the light into the fitness world and I'm forever grateful for that along with his personal friendship! Becoming beautifully strong one gym session at a time!
